Lance Stroll is a Canadian driver from Montreal who won the Italian F4 championship in 2014, the Toyota Racing Series in 2015 and the FIA Formula 3 European title in 2016. He made his Formula 1 debut with Williams in 2017 and finished third in Azerbaijan that year, then the second-youngest podium finisher in the sport's history, before starting on the front row at Monza aged 18.
Stroll moved to Racing Point in 2019, the team his father Lawrence Stroll had led a consortium to buy, and in 2020 took pole position in Turkey plus podiums at Monza and Sakhir. He has continued with the Silverstone squad since its rebranding as Aston Martin in 2021, and holds both Canadian and Belgian citizenship.
