How Rerace F1 live timing works
Rerace connects straight to the official Formula 1 timing feed while a session is running, so the tower updates within seconds of the cars crossing each timing line. You see the running order, gap to the leader, interval to the car ahead, last and best laps, all three sectors and the current tyre compound with its age in laps.
Colours follow the TV graphics: purple marks the fastest time of the session, green is a driver's personal best. Race-control messages, track status such as yellow flags, the Safety Car or a red flag, and live track weather sit alongside the tower. Outside sessions, the page shows the final classification of the most recent session.

Frequently asked questions
Is F1 live timing free on Rerace?
Yes. Live timing is free and needs no account. It works on phones, tablets and desktops in any modern browser.
Why is the timing tower empty?
Between sessions the feed is idle, so the page shows the last completed session. The tower comes alive about fifteen minutes before the next session starts.
Is the timing ahead of the TV feed?
Timing data typically arrives a few seconds after the cars cross each line, which is often earlier than a streamed broadcast.
