Oliver James Bearman is a British driver who grew up in Chelmsford, Essex, and joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2021, the year he won both the Italian and ADAC Formula 4 championships. After finishing third in FIA Formula 3 in 2022, he spent two seasons in Formula 2 with Prema, during which Ferrari called on him at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix when Carlos Sainz was ruled out with appendicitis.
Aged 18, Bearman finished seventh on that debut to become the youngest driver to race for Ferrari, and later scored points for Haas as a stand-in in Azerbaijan, making him the first driver to score for two different teams in his first two starts. Haas signed him as a full-time driver for 2025, when his best result was fourth at the Mexico City Grand Prix.
