Alexander Philippe Albon Ansusinha, better known as Alex Albon, is a Thai driver born in London to a British father and a Thai mother. After winning major karting titles in 2010, he was runner-up to Charles Leclerc in the 2016 GP3 Series and third in Formula 2 in 2018, earning a Toro Rosso debut in 2019. Half a season later he was promoted to Red Bull Racing.
With Red Bull he finished third at the 2020 Tuscan and Bahrain Grands Prix, but lost his seat for 2021, when he served as the team's reserve and raced in the DTM. Williams gave him a Formula 1 return in 2022, and he finished eighth in the 2025 standings with 73 points, ahead of new team-mate Carlos Sainz.
