Scuderia Ferrari is the only team to have competed in every Formula 1 season since the world championship began in 1950. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929 to race Alfa Romeo cars, the Italian team builds its chassis and power units in Maranello and is the most successful constructor in the sport's history, with 16 constructors' championships and 15 drivers' titles.
Ferrari's great eras include Niki Lauda's titles in 1975 and 1977 and Michael Schumacher's five consecutive championships from 2000 to 2004, part of a run of six straight constructors' crowns. Kimi Räikkönen won its most recent drivers' title in 2007, and the team last took the constructors' championship in 2008. Charles Leclerc has raced for Ferrari since 2019, joined by Lewis Hamilton in 2025.
